Elinor Kelly, Ph.D.
Based
in the University of Glasgow since 1992, Dr Elinor Kelly
leads a programme of Equality Studies, including
"Policing a Multi-Cultural Society" training
seminars for Strathclyde Police. Her publications include
the 1995 booklet 'The Roads to Racial Equality,
Challenging Racism and Developing Positive Action in the
Scottish Voluntary Sector'; and articles on Racial!
incidents, Immigration and Asylum, and Muslim Rights in
Education. Most recently she was consultant for the
Runnymede Trust Commission on the Future of Multi-Ethnic
Britain.

Daniel
Onifade, LL.B
Daniel Onifade has a background in law
and Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management and
Racial Issues, having worked abroad and lately with
Citibank in Aberdeen and Scottish Homes in Edinburgh. He
has worked for Lothian Racial Equality Council and
continues to represent clients at tribunals in cases
concerning racial issues. Formerly involved in Race
Relations Training with Lothian and Borders Police, Mr
Onifade; currently works with Dr Kelly in CRR Training
for Strathclyde Police. In addition to his expertise in
matters surrounding racial discrimination, he brings a
personal perspective on being a Nigerian, and a parent of
three young children, living in Britain today.
