The Scotsman reckoned Gareth Evans was just the man to solve Hibs' goalscoring problems (they hadn't scored at Easter Road since November 14 1987). Note also the ominous soundings about Terry Venables and Ken Bates in the crowd to watch John Collins... wrong there too...
