2-1 Motherwell, December 31 1988 It was Hogmanay, it was cold, most of us were getting into the party spirit early, if you know what I mean. So what I'm trying to say is I haven't got a clue who scored or anything. According to The Scotsman (below) there's good reason for my amnesia. Motherwell, managed by Tommy McLean, came armed with former Hibees Craig Paterson and Steve Cowan, as well as the young Tom Boyd. |

Where
are they now? David Torrance (that's David front right, with the beard, next to the woman with the, em,... good lord...), er anyway, David Torrance was in Papua New Guinea then, but where is he now? It can't be anywhere more remote and exotic, that's for sure. Or can it? The upper reaches of the Amazon? Outer Mongolia? Coatbridge? If anybody knows, get on the bush telegraph. |
