Hibs 1-1 Aberdeen, October 27 1990, Easter Road

Hibs had signed Murdo McLeod as player-coach from Borrussia Dortmund two weeks before this game and he had obviously brought some strength to the side straight away, judging by the improved result from the game at Pittodrie. Other changes may have had an effect too. Gone were Neil Cooper and Gareth Evans, Calum Milne was deputising for Graham Mitchell and Dave Farrell had returned to the reserves. Paul Wright partnered Keith Houchen up front and registered one of his all too rare goals for Hibs. Brian Hamilton had also re-established himself in the midfield. More of those last two below...

The programme reported that Willie Miller and Billy Findlay had played for Scotland U-21 in midweek, while McLeod and Goram played for the big team. Willie Miller was just about to celebrate his 21st birthday in fact, and topped the sponsors' player of the year table at this point of the season.

Hello, it's her again. Trailblazing Hibs as usual. Nice barnet love ;^)

Adwatch

As usual Hibs players were doing their bit for sponsors' advertising. Brian Hamilton had taken over from Joe Tortolano as the preferred pin-up boy (see last season). Here he stars, along with Paul Wright, in a true spaghetti western production of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Click on the pic and ... well, I'll leave it up to you to work it out...
