WARNING: Don't eat any fungi you
can't easily identify. The following I've personally tasted and all are easily identified except
A. campestris.
Agaricus campestris [field mushroom] : Very
similar to the button mushrooms of shops. Taste was fine but I was nervous
at the time as it was my first edible attempted and it can be confused
with deadly poisonous types. On reflection I wouldn't try it again. Not
found often. |
