Drill-Mate used as an Asbestos abatement dust control tool

The UK asbestos industry has adopted Drill-Mate as a dust control device for use with industry standard vacuum
extraction systems. Drill-mate has an external handle diameter of 38mm and fits exactly into an industrial standard
vacuum cleaner nozzle (pic illustrates domestic vac).  Most operators reinforce the connection with industrial sticky tape.

Use to remove screws from suspected asbestos panels. Place Drill-Mate over the screw head and with the vac. turned on carefull remove the screw with the appropriate screwdriver. The screw should dissappear into the suction device.
If the screw is aged and irremovable carefully drill the centre of the screw with a drill equal or slightly larger than the shank
of the screw. Again the screw part is absorbed by the vac. In extreme cases use a mini hole saw centred at the side of the
screw to remove it or drill small holes around it.
