HANDY HINT!
If you use Drill-Mate freehand on wall paper and other quality surfaces
then:-
Glue
an old CD onto the front face of the device.
This increases
efficiency only at the expense of disposal of dust after use.
This can
be tuned for your best optimum by shaping the hole to a larger "D" shape.
A similar
catch effect is obtained by masking tape stuck across the face near the
handle.
And ANOTHER! If
you need to use Drill-Mate with a hole saw then:-
A
piece of pipe, cut to length, fits into the front recess.
Use 85mm
(3.375") diam. or 100mm (4") slitted until it closes up to just under 85mm.
This allows
the extra length of the hole saw structure to be accomodated.
Fit the
hole saw through Drill-Mate into the chuck first before starting the cut.
