We Meet at Altrincham Baptist Church regularily to discuss and act on issues around the bus / rail / tram Interchange in Altrincham.

The Friends of Altrincham Interchange is a group committed to facilitating and helping deliver improvements to the Interchange. It was set up in 2004 in response to the worsening physical fabric of the interchange and associated problems. The group works with the various organisations involved in running and operating services from the Interchange on short and long term improvement projects. There is a focus of undertaking practical, including landscaping and clean up projects, as well as forming future re-development plans for the Interchange. The group led a campaign for the replacement of the canopy on platform one, where there was no shelter for more than 3 years, with a 1,000 name petition. As a result, the canopy was finally replaced in December 2006.
